Beginner Party Night · New dates coming soon
Come solo. Leave with seven friends.
Capital Squares is Raleigh’s friendliest Tuesday night: modern square dancing for grown-ups. No partner, no experience and no rhythm required. Eva calls every move out loud, so all you have to do is walk, laugh and say yes.
“Circle left!”Translation: hold hands and walk in a circle. You’ve got this.

One relaxed evening to try square dancing. No partner, no experience, no commitment.
You don’t need to know how to dance. If you can walk, you can do this.
In square dancing, a caller tells you every move, live, as the music plays. There’s nothing to memorize and nothing to practice at home. Tap a call to see what it really means.
Eva Murray calls the moves, so you don’t have to remember them.
As our caller, Eva guides every step in real time, picks the music and keeps the floor laughing. Get lost? Everyone does. Eva will have you back in your spot within a beat or two.
